ROH PROJECT'S 'THERE IS NO CENTER': A DYNAMIC ART EXHIBITION
Providing a constantly evolving artistic experience that challenges the concept of centrality in a dynamic world full of possibilities
ROH Gallery once again presents an innovative art exhibition with There is No Center. Running from January 25 to April 13, 2025, this exhibition features 18 artists from both domestic and international backgrounds, showcasing works that continuously evolve throughout the three-month duration.
There is No Center offers visitors a dynamic experience, with artworks that change and develop over time. As a result, each visit provides a new perspective, as the displayed works will not remain the same from the beginning to the end of the exhibition.
In the first phase of the exhibition, artists like Aditya Novali and Albertho Wanma showcase their works, alongside contributions from Bea Camacho, Budi Santoso, Charwei Tsai, chi too, Kate Newby, Kazuko Miyamoto, Kitty Taniguchi, Mella Jaarsma, Mira Rizki Kurnia, Oototol, Orawan Arunrak, Rab, Raha Raissnia, Tcheu Siong, and Tith Kanitha. Using various mediums, these artists interpret the theme There is No Center through diverse perspectives. The exhibition goes beyond visual exploration, encouraging visitors to rethink the idea of centrality in a world that is constantly evolving.
The exhibition is also designed as a space open to transformation, where artworks and texts enter at unsynchronized stages, undergo changes, or even disappear entirely. This approach rejects the tendency to simplify or reduce the complexity of reality. Instead, it celebrates decentralization and the diversity of meaning in art.
Through There is No Center, ROH Gallery challenges conventional ways of appreciating art. This exhibition invites visitors to experience art in a more flexible form—not just as static objects but as part of an ongoing process and a deeper intellectual exploration.
