A mesmerizing evening of music, heartfelt emotions, and breathtaking performances awaits fans

Great news for K-Pop fans, especially SONE! Taeyeon, a member of Girls’ Generation, is set to return to Indonesia for her highly anticipated solo concert, TAEYEON CONCERT - The TENSE. The concert is scheduled to take place on April 12, 2025, at Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta.

Taeyeon's return to Indonesia is eagerly awaited, especially since her last visit to meet Indonesian fans was two years ago. This concert, promoted by Dyandra Global Edutainment, is part of The TENSE Asia Tour, which spans eight major cities across the region. The tour started with a three-day concert in Seoul from March 7-9, 2025, followed by performances in Taipei (March 16) and Manila (March 29). Now, Jakarta is up next on April 12. After Indonesia, Taeyeon will continue her tour in Macau (April 26), Singapore (May 3-4), and Bangkok (May 31 - June 1), before concluding with the final concert in Hong Kong on June 7, 2025

The Success of Her Album and International Collaborations

Before embarking on this tour, Taeyeon released her sixth mini-album, Letter to Myself, in November 2024. The album received widespread acclaim from fans worldwide. Additionally, she collaborated with international artist Sam Smith on a new version of I’m Not the Only One to commemorate the tenth anniversary of In the Lonely Hour.

Taeyeon's Career Journey

Kim Tae-yeon, better known by her stage name Taeyeon, was born on March 9, 1989. From a young age, she displayed exceptional vocal talent. At 13, she won first place in the SM Entertainment Best Contest in 2004, which led her to join the agency.

Taeyeon debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007. Since then, she has actively pursued solo projects, including singing 7989 in Girls’ Generation’s debut album and contributing to Kangta’s fourth studio album, Eternity (2008). Her popularity soared further through hit drama soundtracks such as If (Hong Gil Dong, 2008) and Can You Hear Me (Beethoven Virus, 2009).

Her official solo debut came in 2015 with the mini-album I, which was met with immense success. Her following album, Why, also garnered positive feedback and achieved high rankings on the Circle Chart. Beyond music, Taeyeon has made notable appearances on television, including We Got Married (2009), Begin Again (2019), and as the host of Queendom 2 (2022). Since 2020, she has been a regular cast member on the variety show Amazing Saturday.
