POLAND SHOPPING DAY 2025 ARRIVED IN BALI, INTRODUCING POLAND’S FINEST PRODUCTS TO INDONESIAN CONSUMERS
A cross-cultural celebration offering premium shopping experiences, authentic flavors, and innovative inspiration

Poland Shopping Day 2025 took place on November 21 at Grand Lucky Sanur, serving as an important highlight of the Poland Festival 2025 series. This initiative was designed to strengthen collaboration between Poland and Indonesia in trade, lifestyle, and cultural exchange through a range of programs presented across multiple cities.

The event was organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in collaboration with Grand Lucky, showcasing Poland’s top-quality products including food and beverages, household goods, bakery items, dairy products, snacks, specialty drinks, and various specialty foods. Visitors enjoyed product showcases, cultural performances, food tasting sessions, and exclusive promotions that offered direct exposure to the quality of Polish products.
Cezary Filipek, Head of Office PAIH Jakarta, stated that the event was intended to provide the best shopping experience for Indonesian consumers while opening business opportunities for importers, distributors, and retailers. Bali was selected as the host location because it was considered an ideal setting to strengthen ties between the people of both countries.
As a form of appreciation, Poland Shopping Day also presented the Poland Shopping Day Awards to retail partners who played an active role in promoting Polish products in the Indonesian market.
Part of Poland Festival 2025

Poland Shopping Day was one of the main programs of Poland Festival 2025, a multi-city festival that showcased Polish innovation, culture, and industry. The festival featured exhibitions, culinary programs, edutech and gaming roadshows, creative workshops, and cultural activities held in Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, and Medan. Its overall goal was to strengthen Poland’s economic and cultural relations with ASEAN countries through ongoing collaboration.
This year, Poland Shopping Day was held in three cities through Indonesia’s modern retail network. In Jakarta it took place on November 16 at Grand Lucky SCBD, while in Surabaya it was held on November 22 at Hokky Citraland. Each location featured thematic areas with cooking demonstrations, cultural highlights, food tasting activities, and special promotions.
The opening ceremony in Bali was led by the Ambassador of Poland to Indonesia, Barbara Szymanowska, accompanied by Cezary Filipek. Barbara emphasized that the event symbolized cultural exchange and the strengthening of bilateral relations that had lasted for 70 years. She noted that this year’s festival showed significant growth and expressed hope that it would expand further next year.

Cezary Filipek added that more than 25 brands and around 100 products were featured at the festival. All products had gone through the import and distribution process by Indonesian companies. Beyond trade, the Polish representatives also highlighted cultural cooperation, including the Mini Indonesia – Bali Indah project in northern Poland, which showcased Balinese cultural elements throughout the year.

The festival also emphasized efforts to expand collaboration in the digital, gaming, and human resource development sectors. PAIH expressed hope that the event would continue to grow each year and further strengthen cooperation between Poland and Indonesia.
