Synchronize Fest, Indonesia’s premier multi-genre music festival, is back in 2024 with an even more spectacular lineup. Taking place from October 4-6, 2024, at Gambir Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta, this festival is not just a platform for the country’s top musicians but also a celebration of musical diversity across different decades. With over 100 curated performances, Synchronize Fest promises an unparalleled musical experience for tens of thousands of attendees.

The festival showcases a broad spectrum of music genres including pop, R&B, rock & roll, blues, folk, jazz, punk, heavy metal, hip-hop, reggae, ska, and dangdut. It also features a variety of sub-genres such as hardcore, metalcore, death metal, grindcore, industrial rock, new wave, indie pop, alternative rock/grunge, and bossa nova. This diverse range ensures that every visitor will find something to enjoy.

This year’s Synchronize Fest highlights 13 special line-ups that are sure to captivate audiences. One of the most eagerly awaited is the tribute to the late Benyamin Sueb, titled “Brang Breng Brong: Benyamin Bikin Ketributan.” This tribute will feature notable performers like David Bayu, Iwa K, Rina Nose, and Sandhy Sondoro, rekindling the magic of Indonesia’s legendary music.

Another exciting feature is the celebration of children’s songs with the line-up “Lagu Anak Masa ke Masa.” Former child stars such as Dhea Ananda, Leony from Trio Kwek Kwek, Tasya Kamila, Tina Toon, Joshua Suherman, and Titiek Puspa will perform, bringing nostalgia and joy to the festival. Additionally, the legendary dangdut singer Elvy Sukaesih, who has been active for 60 years, will be honored for her remarkable career.

Synchronize Fest also offers a range of curated experiences beyond music. Attendees can enjoy the Outdoor Cinema, Art & Merch Market, Records Fair, and F&B Festival. The festival has a fascinating history. It began in 2000 with a group of young enthusiasts pioneering electronic music festivals. By February 2009, Synchronize Fest had evolved into a three-day music event held at Plaza Indonesia Entertainment X’nter, Jakarta. Since then, it has grown to become one of Indonesia’s largest and most anticipated music events.

This year’s theme, “Together Bersama,” highlights the festival’s focus on unity and diversity in music. With over 160 performers across seven stages, Synchronize Fest features performances by Maliq & D’Essentials, Superman Is Dead, and many promising new artists. The festival also includes orchestral performances by KOBRA Musik, DJ sets at the mini stage Oleng Upuk, and various other special shows.
