POLA: THE EXHIBITION OF POLISH CONTEMPORARY TEXTILE ART AND BATIK
As a part of the Poland Festival 2022, on Monday, 3rd October 2022, The opening of POLA, the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Textile Art and Batik, opened at the National Museum Indonesia, Jakarta.
As a part of the Poland Festival 2022, on Monday, 3rd October 2022, The opening of POLA, the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Textile Art and Batik, opened at the National Museum Indonesia, Jakarta. The Director of the National Museum Indonesia, Sri Hartini, and H.E. Mrs. Beata Stoczyńska, the Ambassador of the Poland Republic, conducted the opening by speech and ribbon cutting.
This exhibition will be held from 3 - 30th October 2022 to display the type of textile and item patterns designed by Polandia Artists. Some artists who participated in this exhibition were Bolinska - Walendzik Iwona, Buzniak Paulina, Drozdz Tomasz, and many others.
The design shows the differences in color and pattern are attractive to visitors. There's also a display batik collection from the National Museum that comes from a different region of Indonesia.
Not just about the same flag color, the visitors can also see the similarity between Indonesia and Poland through the displays in this exhibition. In addition to learning about each other's culture, this exhibition will also be a place to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the future.
