Immerse yourself in the charm of culture and the richness of tradition with a variety of exciting activities

The Nusantara Cultural Arts Committee (KSBN) is set to host the "2025 Nusantara Culture-Based Art Exhibition" at the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta. Running from February 10 to 17, 2025, this exhibition marks an important milestone in celebrating KSBN's eight years of promoting cultural arts since its founding in 2017.

This exhibition will showcase a diverse array of artworks reflecting the richness of Nusantara culture, including photography, paintings, sculptures, and traditional costumes inspired by Indonesia's cultural heritage. Beyond the art exhibition, the event will offer a variety of engaging activities for visitors of all ages, such as a fashion show, cultural discussions, a weaving demonstration, a photography workshop, a children's painting competition, and a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the theme "Cultural Resilience and Contribution Towards Advancing Civilization and Societal Well-being."

The event will feature several notable figures, including Giring Ganesha, the Vice Minister of Culture of Indonesia, and respected speakers like Major General (Ret.) Hendardji Soepandji, Dr. Darmansjah Djumala, Jimmy Iskandar, and Djoko Saksono, who will moderate discussions. These speakers will share valuable insights on how culture can contribute to improving civilization and enhancing societal well-being.

A key highlight of the exhibition is the fashion show, which will feature batik and woven fabrics created by top designers, with appearances by models and celebrities such as Angkie Yudhistia, Tantri Dyah Kirana Dewi, and Raline Shah, who also serves as a Special Staff at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Indonesia. The fashion show aims to preserve Indonesia's cultural heritage while showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of batik and woven fabrics as integral elements of the nation’s identity.

Visitors will also have the chance to enjoy several interactive demonstrations, such as photography, painting cultural figures, and capturing regional dancers in traditional attire. For children, a painting competition will provide a platform to express their creativity and depict the beauty of Nusantara culture.

This event offers a rare opportunity to immerse oneself in the vibrant and diverse art and culture of Indonesia. Don’t miss the chance to participate in this inspiring celebration of cultural heritage!
