The F✦FOREVER 1st World Tour "City of Stars" ran for three nights at Indonesia Arena in the GBK Senayan complex from May 28 to 30, 2026, promoted by Color Asia Live. Three members of the original F4 performed: Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, and Vic Chou. Joining them on stage was Ashin, the lead vocalist of legendary Taiwanese band Mayday. Ken Chu did not participate in the tour. Jakarta was the first stop in Southeast Asia for the world tour, extended from two nights to three after tickets for May 29 and 30 sold out within days of going on sale.

F4, composed of Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Vanness Wu, and Ken Chu, rose to regional fame after starring in the 2001 Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, an adaptation of the Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango. The drama became a cultural phenomenon across Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia, where it aired to massive audiences and launched F4 into a category of celebrity that transcended music: they were characters first, musicians second, and the emotional attachment fans formed was built on both simultaneously.

The group released music alongside their acting careers, with songs including "Meteor Rain" and "Qing Fei De Yi" becoming some of the most recognized Mandopop tracks of the early 2000s in Indonesia. They officially disbanded in 2009, with each member pursuing individual careers in film, television, and music.

Their most recent joint appearance before the FFOREVER world tour was at a Mayday concert in Taipei in July 2025, their first public performance together since 2013. The FFOREVER 1st World Tour marked F4's 25th anniversary since their debut, with concerts beginning in Shanghai in December 2025 before moving across Asia.

Color Asia Live announced the Jakarta dates in March 2026. By April 4, when tickets went on sale, the demand was immediate and overwhelming. Tickets for May 29 and 30 sold out before Color Asia Live announced the additional May 28 date on April 10, 2026.

"This is not just a concert, it is a celebration of history," said David Ananda, Managing Director of Color Asia Live. "Bringing Jerry, Van Ness, Vic, and Ashin together on one stage in Jakarta is a dream come true for millions of their fans in Indonesia."

What Three Nights at Indonesia Arena Looked Like

The concert opened on May 28 with "Go for It," delivered in an energetic and spectacular performance that broke the venue open from the first note. The production featured a Four-Point Star Stage, an exclusive stage design that allowed Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Vic Chou, and Ashin to connect with fans from all four directions simultaneously. Nearly 300 crew members supported the production, with specifications consistent with the other FFOREVER concerts across the world tour.

Gates opened at 12:00 WIB each day. VIP Lounge was available from 17:00 WIB. Show time began at 19:00 WIB. The setlist across the three nights included the songs that defined F4's era in Indonesia: "Meteor Rain," "Qing Fei De Yi," and the Mandopop tracks that a generation of Indonesian fans grew up with. Ashin's presence added the Mayday dimension to the evening, expanding the F4 concert Jakarta 2026 beyond a nostalgia trip into something that acknowledged how much all of the performers, and the audience, had grown since 2003.

Ticket prices ranged from Rp1.250.000 for Bronze to Rp4.500.000 for Super VVIP, with Silver at Rp1.450.000, Gold at Rp2.100.000, and Diamond VIP at Rp3.950.000. All three nights ultimately sold out. The FFOREVER 1st World Tour continues after Jakarta, with the F4 concert Jakarta 2026 standing as the first and most historically significant Southeast Asian stop on the tour.
