A dazzling voice, fearless charm, and a triple win mark a rising journey in Indonesia’s music scene

The prestigious music award show, SCTV Music Awards 2025, was successfully held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. This year, the event presented nine award categories, including eight main categories and one special category titled Most Social Media Artist. It served as a platform to recognize and appreciate the achievements of Indonesian music industry professionals throughout the year.

One of the most notable highlights of the evening was the outstanding achievement of Lyodra Ginting. The young and talented singer from Medan took home three trophies, making her the most celebrated musician of the night. She won in the categories of Most Popular Female Solo Singer, Most Popular Song for Tak Selalu Memiliki, and Most Popular Collaboration with Andi Rianto and Rony Parulian for the song Kau Selalu di Hati.

Lyodra is no stranger to the Indonesian music scene. Her career began at an early age when she participated in the Kirana Semen Indonesia competition in 2014 and won third place. That same year, she appeared on the talent show Indonesia Mencari Bakat 4 on Trans TV. Although she did not win the competition, her remarkable talent drew the attention of the recording industry.

A significant turning point in her career came in 2017 when she won first place in category A3 at the international singing competition Sanremo Junior in Italy. This accomplishment opened doors to even bigger stages, eventually leading to her victory in the tenth season of Indonesian Idol, where she became the youngest winner in the show’s history.
