The Lanesborough hotel in London has partnered with Rizzoli International Publications to bring a unique literary experience to guests and visitors. During the month of March 2023, Rizzoli's high-quality illustrated books will be displayed throughout The Library Bar at The Lanesborough for guests to peruse. Additionally, three ticketed author evenings will be hosted in The Library Bar, where guests can meet and listen to the authors speak about their books and inspirations behind their work.
The first author evening, taking place on March 7th, will feature Christopher Jackson, Getty Images' multi-award-winning Royal Photographer. Jackson has created one of the most intimate and elegant archives of photographs of the British royal family over the past two decades. He will be discussing his three publications: Modern Monarchy, Elizabeth II, and Charles III, which is due to be released in April 2023 in time for the Coronation of King Charles III.
The second author evening, on March 21st, will feature interior designer Nina Campbell in conversation with Giles Kime, discussing her latest book, A House in Maine. Campbell is Britain's most respected interior designer, and her clients have included the Queen of Denmark, Rod Stewart, Ringo Starr, and HRH The Princess Sumaya of Jordan. Giles Kime is the executive editor and interiors editor of Country Life magazine.
The third and final author evening will feature Violet Naylor-Leyland in conversation with Beata Heuman discussing her new book Rare Birds, True Style on March 28th. Naylor-Leyland is a fashion stylist, journalist, and writer who has written for numerous magazines, including Vanity Fair, Tatler, Bloomberg Businessweek, and the Evening Standard. Heuman is the founder of Beata Heuman Ltd., a London-based interior architecture and furnishings studio, and is one of the world's most sought-after interior designers.
Each author evening will be priced at £25 per person, including a special, limited-edition Rizzoli Negroni or Manhattan cocktail. Signed copies of each author's books will be available for sale on each evening, making it the perfect opportunity for book lovers and literary enthusiasts to add some of Rizzoli's finest publications to their collections.
