The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore recently celebrated the 79th Anniversary of Indonesia's Independence with a distinguished diplomatic reception at the Shangri-La Hotel. Held on a Thursday, this grand event highlighted the enduring friendship and collaboration between Indonesia and Singapore, with Singapore’s Minister for Sustainability and Environment, Grace Fu, gracing the occasion as the guest of honor. The reception brought together members of the diplomatic community, senior officials, and leading business figures, reflecting the strong bilateral ties between the two nations.

Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, Suryo Pratomo, commenced the event with a speech that underscored the importance of the anniversary. He conveyed that the celebration not only marks a significant milestone for Indonesia but also reaffirms the robust relationship with Singapore.
