The legendary folk tale of Bawang Merah Bawang Putih is presented in a fresh format that captivates audiences across generations. Under the direction of the musical theater group ADPRO, this story is brought to life as a musical filled with moral lessons, imagination, and the power of performing arts. The performance will be held twice on May 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM WIB at Galeri Indonesia Kaya, and is free for the public.

This musical is written by renowned screenwriter Titien Wattimena and directed by Aldafi Adnan. The accompanying music and songs, composed by Ammir Gita, add a magical touch that enhances the audience's imagination of the fairytale world. By blending traditional and modern elements, this musical delivers messages about kindness and patience through a narrative that is both touching and easily understood.

A talented cast brings this performance to life. Aisyah Fadhila plays the gentle and patient Bawang Putih, Maria Giena portrays the ambitious Bawang Merah, Galabby stars as the dominant stepmother, Putri Indam Kamila plays the magical Fairy Grandmother, and Beyon Destiano serves as the narrator, guiding the story with grace.

As the organizer, ADPRO continues to showcase its consistency in presenting musical theater that not only entertains but also conveys values relevant to contemporary society.
