The Jakarta Concert Orchestra (JCO) once again presents a musical innovation that captivates music lovers across the country. Titled "An EMOrchestra: Welcome to THE BLACK SYMPHONY," this concert marks the first orchestral performance to embrace a metal-rock and emo theme. Scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 7:30 PM at Graha Bhakti Budaya, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta, the event promises a distinctive and emotionally stirring musical experience.

Under the baton of renowned conductor Avip Priatna, JCO will perform a curated selection of songs from iconic 2000s bands. Tracks by My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Avenged Sevenfold, Blink-182, and Avril Lavigne will be reimagined in grand orchestral arrangements, evoking powerful emotions and a sense of nostalgia.

Known for its previous masterpieces such as Prodigious Mozart, Symphonic Saga, and Lost in Harmony—a collaboration with Isyana Sarasvati—JCO continues to showcase its musical versatility by venturing into an unconventional genre within the orchestral scene. The signature distortion of rock and the intensity of heavy metal will intertwine with the majesty of symphonic music, creating a uniquely electrifying harmony.

For this concert, Avip Priatna will be joined by three lead vocalists: Farhan Purnama, Stefani Yang, and Ery Kumendong. Together, they will perform emotionally charged songs that reflect the spirit and turbulence of the 2000s generation.
