JOALI BEING: CELEBRATING REBIRTH AND RENEWAL THIS EASTER WITH TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCES
With its unique offerings, JOALI BEING aims to help its guests rediscover joy through transformative experiences.
As the world recovers from the pandemic, finding joy in life is essential. To help guests rediscover the spirit of Easter, JOALI BEING, the first well-being island retreat in the Maldives, has created an exciting program for its visitors from 6th to 12th April 2023, aimed at renewing the spirit and reviving their light. The retreat has crafted a range of experiences designed to bring back the joys of folklore and cherished traditions. The symbol of renewal and rebirth, the robin, will be used decoratively around the island through feathers, objects, and imagery.
Culinary experiences
The Easter culinary experiences will feature unique pop-ups, such as fireside and charcoal cooking, packed with delicious and nutritious dishes. Guests will learn about inflammation-easing cooking sessions and revitalizing their internal health with Omega-3 rich foods through cooking sessions led by JOALI BEING’s expert nutritionist. Children can take part in the “Young Master Chef” cooking class, where they can learn easy culinary techniques and explore their creativity in the kitchen.
Well-being experiences and visiting well-being practitioners
Visitors can indulge in a range of well-being experiences, such as facemask workshops, sound bath meditation, Qi Gong, and dance classes. For those looking for something slightly more upbeat, exhilarating dance routine workshops are available. Guided meditation with sound healing instruments can help guests center their minds and discover a sense of profound calm.
JOALI BEING is also welcoming expert visiting practitioners during the Easter period, such as Dr. Tara Swart Bieber, a globally renowned PhD neuroscientist, and Javier De Prado Lizano, a master of craniosacral and Watsu therapies. Alexandra Demolling, an experienced naturopath and iridologist, will guide guests on a holistic pathway to mind and body balance using herbal and vibrational remedies to treat issues such as stress, inflammation, and food intolerances.
Active experiences and educational conservation talks
For those interested in exploration, the retreat offers outdoor sound therapy oasis tours and morning yoga at the Ocean Sala. Children can enjoy complimentary yoga classes throughout the day. Dolphin cruises, SEABOB snorkeling, traditional sunset fishing, parasailing, and dedicated children's activities are also available. Visitors can learn about the marine world through conservation and marine talks led by JOALI BEING’s Resident Marine Biologist.
