In the film categories, Hamnet was named Best Motion Picture in the Drama category. The film also earned an acting honor through Jessie Buckley, who won Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama. Meanwhile, One Battle After Another claimed Best Motion Picture in the Musical or Comedy category and emerged as the most awarded film of the night, securing four wins from nine nominations. Beyond Best Picture, the film also brought Paul Thomas Anderson awards for Best Director and Best Screenplay.

Another highlight came from the animation category, where KPop Demon Hunters received two awards, winning Best Motion Picture, Animated, and Best Original Song for the track Golden. In the non English language film category, The Secret Agent from Brazil won Best Non English Language Film. This achievement was further underscored by Wagner Moura’s victory as Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama, making him the first Brazilian actor to receive a Golden Globe in that category.

Additional film honors went to Ludwig Göransson, who won Best Original Score for Sinners, a film that also received the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award. Meanwhile, Timothée Chalamet was named Best Actor in the Musical or Comedy category for his performance in Marty Supreme.

In the television sector, The Pitt was recognized as Best Series, Drama, while The Studio won Best Series, Comedy or Musical. The limited series Adolescence earned the title of Best Limited Series and also recorded additional wins in supporting acting categories. Television acting honors were presented to Noah Wyle, Rhea Seehorn, Jean Smart, and Seth Rogen, reflecting a wide range of standout performances throughout the year.
