Tanabambu Cibubur is more than just a countryside-style restaurant. Nestled in the Ciangsana area of Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency, it offers the charm of a traditional village while serving as a vibrant cultural space. Beyond dining, Tanabambu regularly hosts a variety of Nusantara art performances, giving visitors a chance to experience Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage firsthand. One of the highlights returning this season is the Balinese Kecak Dance, set to take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

As part of the Gelar Budaya Tanabambu program, the restaurant stages the Kecak Dance in the heart of the lush and inviting Kampung Jawa Tanabambu. Under the title Mystical Kecak Dance: Hanoman Obong, the performance blends the vibrant traditions of Balinese art with the warm, rustic character of a Javanese village, offering an authentic and immersive cultural experience.

In the open spaces of Kampung Tanabambu, dancers form the iconic Kecak circle and chant the hypnotic “cak-cak-cak” rhythm without any musical instruments. The harmony of their voices forms the centerpiece of the performance, creating an energetic and captivating atmosphere. The show is expected to last between 45 and 60 minutes.

The appeal of this cultural event extends beyond the performance itself. Tanabambu Cibubur is located at Jl. Letda Nasir No. 36A, Ciangsana, Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency, just behind Kota Wisata Cibubur. Visitors entering the restaurant are greeted by a gate reading “Sugeng Rawuh,” meaning welcome in Javanese, along with bamboo accents, wooden structures, and antique decorations that evoke the nostalgia of village life.

Tanabambu is also celebrated for its home-style Javanese and Sundanese cuisine. Served buffet-style in traditional patterned basins and kept warm over wood-fired stoves, the dishes release the authentic aromas and flavors of a countryside kitchen. A spacious, shaded parking area surrounded by trees and natural bamboo fencing completes the immersive experience.

Through this initiative, Tanabambu invites the local community and the broader public to gather, enjoy, and celebrate the diversity of Nusantara culture in a warm, welcoming, and meaningful setting.
