On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, a press conference was held at Wisma Prancis Jakarta to launch the celebration of 75 years of diplomatic relations between France and Indonesia. Attended by numerous journalists, this event marked the beginning of a series of collaborative programs to take place throughout 2025.

Diplomatic relations between France and Indonesia were officially established on January 4, 1950.
