A RUSSIAN CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Extend that festive season feeling into the new year and join us for an authentic celebration of Russian Christmas at Armani/Mediterraneo with an authentic buffet spread as diverse as the country’s far-flung geography and rich heritage. Featuring dishes from the noblest of households to heartwarming family favourites handed down through generations, this is a Christmas feast overflowing with tradition and good taste. Freshly shucked oysters and caviar served with homemade blinis set the tone for a very special occasion, with a wide-ranging selection of national dishes including smoked Balik salmon, beet and potato salad, Russian cabbage soup and beef stroganoff with sour cream. Desserts are equally traditional, featuring zapechenoe yabloko (baked golden apple), medovik (layered honey cake), slastyony poltavsky (apple beignets) and spiced cookies.

HOMAGE TO HOKKAIDO

Armani/Hashi highlights the tri-coastal flavours of the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido this month with a celebratory six-course seafood menu. Savour the creamy uni heart of the highly prized sea urchin served with oyster to start, followed by a delightfully briny collection of inspired dishes featuring another signature island ingredient, Hokkaido crab, paired and prepared with contemporary flair. A nourishing crab dobin soup warms the heart while a chef’s sashimi and maki selection presents crab in an entirely different way and a robata king crab is paired with melt-in-the-mouth wagyu.
