A colorful collision of community energy, creative sparks, and city fun

Jakarta and surrounding residents, mark your calendars. Semasa Piknik 2025 is returning to bring new life to the city with a fresh mix of entertainment and creative markets in a vibrant outdoor setting. The event will take place at Taman Lapangan Banteng in Central Jakarta over three exciting days, from June 27 to 29, 2025, running from 10 AM to 8:30 PM.

This year’s edition introduces an improved layout with more spacious areas and a smoother flow to enhance the visitor experience. Guests can look forward to a variety of performances, including live music by RCD Records artists such as Harra., VINTONIC, and Dominique Adhadiaz, as well as DJ sets that will complement the relaxed picnic vibe in the heart of the city.

More than 250 local brands will take part in the creative market, with around 150 from the local creative industry and over 90 food and beverage stalls offering a range of delicious options. Visitors can also explore special zones for secondhand items and toys, making it a great spot for unique finds and gifts.

Semasa Piknik is celebrated as a community-centered event that is inclusive and open to everyone. Best of all, the entire event is free to attend. To add to the comfort, picnic mats and bean bags will be available so guests can enjoy the park at their leisure.

Adding an educational twist, Semasa is teaming up with @jktgoodguide to offer walking tours exploring the rich history of the Weltervreden area. Two themed routes will be available daily: “Tamasya ke Weltervreden” at 9 AM and “Nostalgia Passer Baroe” at 3 PM. Each session accommodates three groups. The tour fee is IDR 165,000 per person and includes a guide, drinks, merchandise, and personal accident insurance provided by Zurich Indonesia, with coverage up to IDR 25,000,000 per participant.
