An art form that blends the beauty of classical and modern, connecting generations through the magic of music and unforgettable collaborations

On November 16, 2024, Jakarta became the stage for an extraordinary performance by the renowned violin maestro, Iskandar Widjaja. With the title *"Iskandar The Show,"* this concert at the Ciputra Artpreneur Theater mesmerized art enthusiasts from all walks of life. More than just a musical event, the show reflected Iskandar’s vision of blending diverse elements of music and art into one magnificent spectacle.  

The evening began at 6:30 PM, with the first session lasting approximately 1.5 hours. The audience was taken on a journey through captivating violin performances, where Iskandar masterfully fused classical, modern, and original compositions. The first segment showcased 5 to 6 expertly performed pieces, while the second half featured 8 equally enchanting songs. His artistry created a seamless harmony of genres, evoking profound emotions and leaving the audience spellbound.  

Adding to the brilliance of the night were collaborations with some of Indonesia’s most talented artists. Iskandar joined forces with Stephanie Onggowinoto, a globally acclaimed pianist, along with a dynamic ensemble of 10 string players and 2 violinists. The stage came alive with dancers from Agnez Mo’s team, led by Reza Muhammad, while iconic designer Ivan Gunawan added his touch of elegance with stunning costumes. A surprise guest appearance further heightened the magic of the evening.  

This Jakarta performance was part of the "Iskandar The Show" tour, which had already captivated audiences in Yogyakarta and Surabaya. At each stop, Iskandar received an overwhelmingly positive response, reflecting the deep connection his music fosters with listeners. November also marked a milestone in Iskandar’s career. He recently wrapped up shooting a music video at Nusa Kambangan, one of Indonesia’s iconic locations, which is slated for release soon. Additionally, he launched a new single, making the month particularly memorable and significant.  

As a role model for young artists, Iskandar Widjaja continues to innovate, presenting fresh and inspiring creations in every performance.
