 Bintan is gearing up to host ocean sport enthusiasts for the highly anticipated Bintan Regatta 2025, taking place from April 18 to 21 at Bandar Bentan Telani Marina, Riau Islands. More than just a competition, this prestigious event plays a key role in promoting Indonesia’s marine tourism and supports the Ministry of Tourism’s "Upgraded Tourism" initiative.

Designed for more than just seasoned sailors, Bintan Regatta 2025 offers an exciting and upscale island experience. The race is open to various keelboat classes—including IRC, PY, and multihull—and welcomes sailors of all skill levels to compete in six thrilling races over two days.

Now in its third edition, the event is organized by Bintan Resort Cakrawala in collaboration with Singapore’s Changi Sailing Club. It promises a perfect blend of friendly competition and scenic coastal charm. With breathtaking sea views and warm hospitality, Bintan Regatta appeals not only to the sailing community but also to beachgoers and lovers of the outdoors.

But the excitement doesn’t stop at the water’s edge. A vibrant lineup of social activities completes the weekend. The Welcome Dinner on April 18 sets the tone for the festivities, while the Prize Presentation and Closing Party on April 20 brings the celebration to a high point. An After Party at Tidal Bar caps off the experience, giving participants a chance to relax and toast to their achievements in a festive beachfront atmosphere.

Although registration officially closed on March 31, 2025, the event continues to attract attention as a premier showcase of international sailing and tropical splendor.
