Marriott International opens its 150th hotel in South Asia with the launch of JW Marriott Goa.

JW Marriott, one of Marriott Bonvoy’s premier hotel brands, has made its debut in the Indian state of Goa with the opening of the JW Marriott Goa.

The new hotel, located along the Goan coastline near historic forts, churches, and stunning beaches, is designed to be an oasis of luxury and hospitality with a focus on mindfulness.

The 151-room hotel features thoughtfully-crafted spaces and experiences that are meant to help guests feel revitalized in mind, body, and spirit. 

Bruce Rohr, Global Brand Leader of JW Marriott, commented on the opening, stating that “JW Marriott is at the forefront of the evolution of luxury, blending a legacy of extraordinary hospitality with a contemporary commitment to mindfulness and well-being that continues to be a priority for today’s luxury traveler.”

Ranju Alex, Area Vice President of South Asia for Marriott International, added that the opening marked a milestone for the company's 150th opening in the region and solidified their commitment to South Asia. 

The hotel is located along the picturesque coastline of Vagator and features four dining venues, including JW Kitchen, Pérola, Água Bar and Café, and Heliconia. The hotel also features Spa by JW, the first and only Turkish and Moroccan hammams in Goa, as well as a modern gym and an outdoor infinity pool with poolside cabanas.

The hotel's family program, Family by JW, offers a variety of activities for guests of all ages to enjoy together, including virtual reality games, a bowling alley, and a children's play area. 

The hotel also offers a total of 18,752 square feet of indoor and outdoor event spaces, including two meeting rooms and a ballroom with an outdoor terrace.
