BOJONEGORO'S INTRODUCTION TO ASIAN CUISINE: ARCHIPELAGO INTERNATIONAL'S PREMIER FOOD FESTIVAL

Archipelago debuts Asian food festival in Bojonegoro, showcasing diverse cuisines, entertainment, and fostering culinary innovation and tourism

For the first time, Bojonegoro savored the vibrant flavors of Asia as Archipelago International launched its culinary extravaganza at the Archipelago Food Festival held at Aston Bojonegoro City Hotel. This flavorful journey through Asian cuisine took place on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the magnificent Andrawina Ballroom of Aston Bojonegoro City Hotel, featuring a collaboration of 14 Executive Chefs from Archipelago International's hotels across East Java.

Under the theme "Taste of Asia," the festival boasted an impressive array of Asian delicacies, spanning Indonesian, Malaysian, Thai, Singaporean, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cuisines. With over 53 dishes available, including appetizers, mains, desserts, and various food and beverage stalls, attendees were treated to a diverse selection of iconic dishes. Highlights included Korea's Beef Bulgabi, Japan's Teppanyaki, China's Peking Duck, Singapore's Chili Crab, Malaysia's Ayam Percik, Middle Eastern Shawarma, and more.

The participating chefs represented esteemed Archipelago properties such as Aston and favehotel Bojonegoro, Aston Inn Jemursari, Aston Gresik, favehotel Sidoarjo, The Alana Malang, Aston Inn Batu, The Alana Surabaya, Aston Mojokerto, NEO+ Waru Sidoarjo, favehotel Rungkut Surabaya, Aston Madiun, and favehotel Malang. Corporate Executive Chef Denny Frederick and Corporate Pastry Chef Risman Sukmawan from Archipelago International led the culinary brigade, ensuring a memorable gastronomic experience.

Denny Frederick, Corporate Executive Chef of Archipelago International, emphasized that the Archipelago Food Festival serves as a proud platform dedicated to introducing culinary delights to everyone while maintaining a commitment to delivering the highest quality. In 2024, they returned with the theme 'Taste of Asia,' aiming to acquaint the Bojonegoro community with their skilled chefs and allowing them to savor authentic Asian cuisines prepared by their seasoned culinary team.

In addition to indulging in exquisite flavors, attendees were treated to live band performances and the traditional Sanjiwani dance, a cultural gem of Bojonegoro. The lavish stage setup and captivating lighting enhanced the ambiance throughout the event.
