The grand final of Puteri Indonesia 2026, held at the Jakarta International Convention Center on April 24, 2026, marked a historic moment for Agnes Aditya Rahajeng. Representing Banten, she outshone the other finalists and was officially crowned the winner, becoming the first representative from the province to achieve this title.

The crown was presented by Firsta Yufi Amarta Putri, signaling the beginning of Agnes’s new role as a representative of Indonesian women on both national and international stages.

Journey and Background

Before entering the pageant world, Agnes was already known as a model and content creator. A graduate in Communication Studies, she is also actively involved in developing a social enterprise with her family, focusing on social initiatives and community empowerment.

Her decision to join Puteri Indonesia was driven by a desire to step out of her comfort zone and challenge herself to grow further. With strong family support, including her sister Maria Rahajeng, she successfully proved her capabilities on the national stage.

In the final round, Agnes competed against three other finalists from Bali and Jakarta. Her confident presence and clear, thoughtful answers during the Q&A session stood out.

One of the most memorable moments was when she responded to a question about choosing between pursuing higher education abroad or staying to care for her ill mother. By prioritizing family, she demonstrated empathy and maturity, which resonated strongly with the judges.

In addition to winning the main title, Agnes also received the Best Traditional Costume award for her silver-toned outfit inspired by the one-horned rhinoceros, a symbol closely associated with Banten.
