MARINA BAY SANDS CELEBRATES 13TH ANNIVERSARY WITH STUNNING PROGRAMS AND RENOVATED ROOMS

Marina Bay Sands, one of the world's most iconic integrated resorts, celebrates its 13th anniversary with a bang.

Marina Bay Sands, one of the world's most iconic integrated resorts, celebrates its 13th anniversary with a bang. The resort, which is located in Singapore, has launched a series of programs to mark the occasion, including a massive US$1 billion investment program.

The investment program has reached a historic milestone with the completion of more than 850 hotel rooms, heralding a new era of luxury hospitality.

"The massive design transformation of this iconic hotel is part of our commitment to setting new benchmarks for ourselves and for the industry," said Paul Town, Chief Operating Officer of Marina Bay Sands. "The launch of our new suite of rooms is the start of more transformations to come. The next few years, guests will witness luxury in every corner of our property. From the ambience of the Lobby to the new Sands SkyPark concepts, every corner guests visit will be significantly reviewed and updated during our 13 years in operation. We are passionate about everything that will happen in the future while continuing to transform to meet guests' evolving expectations."

The newly opened collection of rooms and suites located in Towers 1 and 2 is the first in a series of exquisitely designed luxury accommodations inspired by Singapore's multicultural environment.

The collection strikes a balance between spaciousness and comfort, offering a glimpse into Marina Bay Sands' transformation over the past few years, starting in late 2021, as integrated resorts begin to reimagine the future of luxury hospitality and travel.

Currently, more than 850 rooms have been renovated, which is almost two-thirds of the total 1,282 rooms that will result from renovations in Towers 1 and 2.

Furthermore, renovations will focus on ultra-luxe suites, increasing the number of suites at Marina Bay Sands in Towers 1 and 2 from the previous 137 rooms to a total of approximately 422 rooms.

Following updates on Towers 1 and 2, which are expected to be completed by the end of 2023, Tower 3, Hotel Lobby, and Sands SkyPark are next.

The range of world-class experiences provided by this integrated resort will also include a revamped Executive Club lounge, premium luxury dining options, and health and wellness offerings.

This series of new experiences will be a new milestone ensuring that the resort will remain a leading destination synonymous with Asian hospitality.

The renovation was supported by strong first-quarter 2023 revenue. In the most recent period, Marina Bay Sands' net revenue more than doubled to US$848 million, with revenue for the hotel reaching US$97 million – an increase of approximately 155% compared to the same period in 2022. The hotel occupancy rate also reached 97.6 percent with an Average Daily Rate (ADR) of US$594.

The casino achieved a record property revenue contribution of US$549 million, surpassing last year's revenue of US$275 million. In addition, The Shoppes also recorded revenue of US$53 million.
