As August 2025 draws to a close, Orchid Forest Cikole in Lembang, Bandung will once again resonate with the harmony of orchestral music intertwined with the beauty of nature. On August 30, Forestra 2025 returns for its fourth edition, offering a truly unforgettable experience in the heart of a pine forest.

With the theme of “music meets nature,” the festival once again highlights a special collaboration with the Erwin Gutawa Orchestra. This year’s lineup brings together musicians across generations, including Reza Artamevia, Sal Priadi, and Voice of Baceprot, who will perform alongside the grandeur of the orchestra. Other performers such as The Sigit, Bernadya, Raja Kirik, Ensemble Tikoro, Iksan Skuter, The Panturas, and Oom Leo Berkaraoke will also take the stage, filling the pine forest with diverse sounds and energy. Each performance is crafted to create a unique atmosphere, blending music with the spirit of the natural surroundings.

Beyond the main performances, Forestra 2025 will feature Bottlesmoker’s experimental project “Bio-plant Sonic,” where plants become part of the instruments. The festival will also host creative programs at Area Gema, including music discussions with Kiki Ucup and interactive sessions designed to spark dialogue about culture and the creative ecosystem.

One of the festival’s distinct elements is its stage design, which harmonizes with the forest. Continuing the tradition of previous editions, visual projections mapped onto the trees will create a multisensory experience, making it feel as though the forest and music are speaking to one another.

Environmental commitment is at the heart of Forestra. This year, the festival renews its collaboration with Greenpeace Indonesia to integrate environmental awareness campaigns throughout the event. A portion of ticket sales will go toward supporting the community of Pari Island in the Thousand Islands, which has been impacted by the climate crisis. The initiative focuses on empowering women through alternative farming and renewable energy projects.
