IT’S Y(O)UR TIME: AN ART EXHIBITION FOR REFLECTION AND COLLECTIVE DIALOGUE
A collective art experience that embraces differences, sparks new conversations, and invites the public to reflect on the meaning of togetherness
More than an exhibition title, IT’S Y(O)UR TIME is both a statement and an invitation to pause and reflect on the meaning of togetherness. Amid Indonesia’s increasingly fragmented reality shaped by differing perspectives, life principles, the overwhelming flow of information, and the spread of hoaxes, the exhibition offers a space to reconsider how willing we still are to listen, engage in dialogue, and feel a sense of belonging with one another.
Rather than pointing to who is right or wrong, IT’S Y(O)UR TIME invites visitors to turn inward. Each individual is encouraged to recognize their own role within a complex and ever-changing social landscape. The exhibition positions art as a medium for reflection rather than judgment, and as a way to reopen conversations that may have long been left unfinished.
As a collective exhibition, IT’S Y(O)UR TIME brings together six artist collectives and groups with diverse backgrounds and approaches: Biro Tanpa Tanda Djasa, Blitzkrieg Club, eSeR93, MSG Collective, NPC (Nostalgic Playful Collective), and Sarang Tengah Art Collective. Featuring more than 120 works, the exhibition creates a vibrant meeting space where ideas, concerns, and perspectives intersect and coexist.
Each collective presents its own narrative and visual language. Yet they are united by a shared awareness that national issues do not belong to a single group, but are a collective responsibility that must be faced together. Through the works on display, visitors are encouraged to see that differences are not meant to be contested, but understood and embraced.
Notably, the exhibition is open to the public free of charge. This free-entry approach reinforces the spirit of inclusivity that has been central to IT’S Y(O)UR TIME from the beginning. 2Madison Gallery is transformed into a space for dialogue rather than simply a place to display works. Visitors are invited not only to observe, but also to feel, question, and open the possibility for new conversations.
Ahead of its public opening on February 15, 2026, IT’S Y(O)UR TIME serves as a reminder that amid differences and rapid change, there is always time and space to come back together. It offers a simple yet relevant message: this is our time to listen, to understand, and to move forward collectively.
The IT’S Y(O)UR TIME exhibition will take place at 2Madison Gallery, Gedung Promenade 20, Jl. Bangka Raya No.20, Kemang, South Jakarta, and will run until March 15, 2026.
