A reimagined stage spectacle that brings the warmth of family stories closer to your heart

The Keluarga Cemara musical returns this year with significant updates, promising a fresher, more emotional, and meaningful theatrical experience. After successfully captivating over 30,000 audience members in 2024, the performance will once again be staged at Ciputra Artpreneur Jakarta for nearly a full month, from June 20 to July 13, 2025.

Rather than a simple repeat of the previous edition, the 2025 Keluarga Cemara Musical presents a deeper and more artistic evolution of the show. Various creative aspects have been enhanced, from stage design and lighting to musical arrangements, all crafted to evoke stronger emotional responses. Every element is designed to deliver a more immersive and touching theatrical journey, inviting the audience to reflect on the heartfelt values of family.

The choreography has also been further developed to integrate seamlessly with acting and singing. This approach brings each scene to life in a natural, fluid way, creating a storyline that flows beautifully and resonates emotionally.

With a total of 30 performances, this production becomes one of Indonesia’s longest-running musical theater shows within a single season. Directed by Pasha Prakasa and produced by Cristian Imanuell, Billy Gamaliel, and Chriskevin Adefrid, the musical is a collaborative creation by Visinema Studios and Indonesia Kaya.

A standout feature of the 2025 edition is the introduction of two alternating family casts. The role of Abah will be played by Taufan Purbo and Simhala Avadana, while Emak will be portrayed by Andrea Miranda and Galabby. Fazka Bahanan and Quinn Salman will alternate as Ara, and Amira Karin and Aisyah Fadhila will take turns playing Euis. These casting rotations bring a refreshing dynamic to the beloved story familiar to Indonesian audiences.

In addition to the technical and casting updates, the script written by Yemima Krisantina and Widya Arifianti has been revised to place greater emphasis on internal family conflicts. This enhancement is expected to help audiences connect more deeply with the narrative.
