Bali, Indonesia has once again succeeded in becoming the host for the intense competition of the AFC Women's U-17 Asian Cup. This was announced by the Chairman of the All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI), Erick Thohir, during the inauguration event at the Bali Beach Convention, Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Denpasar. Erick emphasized that building tourism doesn't solely rely on natural and cultural wealth but also on creating a tourism ecosystem, including sports tourism and health tourism, as currently implemented in Bali.

This paradise island, renowned for its natural beauty, will bear witness to the intense competition among eight teams in the AFC Women's U-17 2024. This prestigious tournament will bring together the best teams from Asia to compete for the championship title and tickets to the Women's U-17 World Cup. In support of the tournament's smooth operation, PT PLN (Persero) has also ensured reliable electricity supply at both main stadiums, demonstrating its commitment to supporting international sports events in Indonesia.

The Women's U-17 Asian Cup 2024 has been ongoing from May 6th to 19th, held at two main stadiums in Bali, namely the I Wayan Dipta Gianyar Stadium and the Bali United Training Center, Gianyar. Aside from competing for the title, this tournament also determines three tickets to the Women's U-17 World Cup in the Dominican Republic.

The eight participating teams, including hosts Indonesia, have been divided into two groups, A and B. Each team competes in the group stage to secure two tickets to the semifinals. In Group A, host Indonesia will compete with North Korea, South Korea, and the Philippines, while Group B will feature defending champions Japan, China, Australia, and Thailand.

Indonesia, making its second appearance in the Women's U-17 Asian Cup, undoubtedly holds high hopes with the support of its loyal supporters. Under the guidance of experienced coach Satoru Mochizuki, Indonesia is determined to deliver its best performance and reach the semifinals.
