During the opening ceremony in Jakarta, Jacek Kolomyjec, the Head of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, highlighted that the event has grown into the most extensive promotion of Poland in Indonesia. This year, Poland Festival made its presence felt in five cities, including Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung, Surabaya, and Denpasar, with special surprises in Lampung.

Poland, standing tall as one of Central Europe's largest nations, presents substantial prospects for Indonesia, especially in the realms of trade and investment. Following the triumph of events in Bogor and Bandung, the eagerly awaited Poland Festival 2023 kicked off its festivities officially in Jakarta. Starting at GrandLucky Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta, on November 11, 2023, the festival continued its vibrant journey to Grand Lucky, SCBD, South Jakarta. Soon after, it is set to unfold in other cities - Grand Lucky Superstore Sanur, Denpasar, on November 25, 2023, and Hokky Graha Familia, Surabaya, on November 26, 2023.

This festival endeavors to deliver quality products to Indonesian consumers, carve out business opportunities, and heighten Indonesia's recognition in Poland. Adding to the allure, the festival proudly displays a diverse array of Polish FMCG brands, spanning from delectable food and beverages to exquisite cosmetic products, all available with enticing discounts of 10-50% in several Indonesian supermarkets. Visitors are not only treated to a shopping extravaganza but also have the chance to immerse themselves in Polish culture by participating in language classes and engaging in various exciting activities. It's not just a festival; it's an experience waiting to be embraced.

Beata Stoczyńska, the Ambassador of Poland to Indonesia, expressed hope that the festival would strengthen business relations and increase trade exchanges between Poland and Indonesia. She emphasized that the Poland Festival is not merely a promotional event but also an opportunity to introduce the potential of tourism and foster cultural collaboration. The warm welcome for Poland Festival 2023 aligns with the celebration of the 550th birthday of Nicolaus Copernicus. The festival offers various exciting events in different cities, such as Science and Geology Day, Symposium Ed-tech and Science, Culinary Show, Art and Food Evening, and many more.

Over the last five years, Poland Festival has successfully heightened public awareness of Poland in ASEAN, attracting more than 200,000 visitors and significantly boosting the sales of Polish FMCG products in Indonesia.
