Disney Indonesia captivates audiences once again with an installation inspired by the film Moana 2 at the Transjakarta Bus Stop Bundaran HI in Jakarta. Open to the public from November 18 to December 17, 2024, the installation invites visitors to step into Moana's new adventure by exploring a bamboo boat that symbolizes her exciting journey across the open sea. This project is a collaboration between Disney Indonesia, Transjakarta, and .this/Play Studio to celebrate the release of Moana 2, now playing in Indonesian cinemas since November 27, 2024.

This installation goes beyond its visually striking design to promote sustainability, aligning with Transjakarta’s Sustainable Ecosystem program. The bamboo boat at the heart of the installation is crafted from recycled materials, while the surrounding waves are made from recycled plastic. The installation delivers an important message about reusing materials to help protect the environment.

Located at the Transjakarta bus stop, the Moana 2 installation offers a relaxing spot for visitors who can enjoy the view of the Selamat Datang Monument and Bundaran HI fountain. It provides a chance to experience the spirit of Moana's adventure while taking a moment to rest, offering a unique experience for pedestrians passing by.

The original Moana film was a major success when it premiered in 2016, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature. This sequel takes the adventure to new heights, with Moana (voiced by Auli'i Cravalho), Maui (Dwayne Johnson), and a new crew embarking on a more challenging journey. After receiving a call from her ancestors, Moana sets out to explore long-lost, dangerous waters in the vast seas of Oceania.
