INDONESIA PRIDE WORLD TOUR 2026 HEADS TO THE WORLD
Indonesia Pride World Tour 2026 launches Sangat Indonesia at Four Seasons Jakarta, bringing Indonesian fashion to the world stage.
Bring Indonesia to the Next Level: Inside the Opening of Indonesia Pride World Tour 2026
On May 5, 2026, Hotel Four Seasons Jakarta became the starting point for something that intends to travel much further. Indonesia Pride World Tour 2026 opened its doors with an event titled Sangat Indonesia, and before the first model walked the runway, the room had already made the statement. Every guest arrived in kebaya, tenun, ikat, or batik. The dress code was not a formality. It was the title of the evening, worn by everyone in it.
Sangat Indonesia is the opening chapter. Bring Indonesia to the Next Level is the mission that follows it to Melbourne, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

On the Sangat Indonesia runway, every collection carries the same argument: Indonesian heritage is the design.
What Sangat Indonesia Actually Means on a World Tour Stage
Indonesia Pride was founded by Rama Budisetyo in 2023. Now in its fourth annual edition, the platform has held a consistent position: fashion as cultural diplomacy, not spectacle.
The Sangat Indonesia opening combined a fashion show with a trade show under one roof at Four Seasons Jakarta, with MC Zulfikar Naghi hosting the afternoon program. The fashion show began at 2 PM, preceded by a press conference at noon. Collections from Denny Wirawan and Je Sui Flirt by Indah Kalalo and Fabiola Aisha anchored the runway, while dozens of UMKM participants from across the archipelago occupied the trade show floor alongside them.
That structure was deliberate. Indonesian designers and small businesses shared the same audience, the same floor, and the same direct access to international buyers. The runway and the negotiation table occupied the same afternoon.

As Rama Budisetyo stated at the event: "We want this to be the right platform for UMKM and designers, a real bridge so that Indonesian creative work becomes known in international markets."
The goal is not exposure for its own sake. Indonesia Pride World Tour 2026 is designed as a sustained commitment to positioning Indonesian creative work inside the global fashion market, city by city, edition by edition.
Celebrities including Marini Zumarnis, Cut Keke, Dina Lorenza, Diana Pungky, and Ayu Azhari attended in support of the mission. The event was co-hosted by Nina Kaginda, Debbie Robert, Gendis Soeharto, Anni Savitri, Dewi Bamsoet, Dahlia Sardjono, and Ervi Meizarni.

A new addition for 2026 is a collaboration with dr. Schatz, introducing a study tour to Shanghai for the first time, planned as a recurring annual program going forward.
Sangat Indonesia does not ask what Indonesian fashion can become on a global stage. It assumes the answer already exists, packages it with precision, and carries it to Melbourne, Shanghai, and Hong Kong under the banner of Bring Indonesia to the Next Level.
