On Monday, November 11, 2024, a reception to commemorate Italy's National Unity and Armed Forces Day took place at the Observatory Ballroom on the 36th floor of the Park Hyatt Hotel Jakarta. The event, hosted by Captain (N) Maurizio Pitton, the Defense Attaché of the Embassy of Italy, was attended by a range of distinguished guests. Its purpose was to highlight Italy's achievements across various fields while strengthening the relationship between Italy and Indonesia.

Italy’s National Unity and Armed Forces Day, celebrated every November 4th, is a day of deep significance. It marks Italy's victory in World War I and the completion of the unification process that began in the 19th century. The day also honors the bravery and dedication of Italy’s armed forces, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Carabinieri.

During the reception, guests had the chance to immerse themselves in Italy’s rich culture, accomplishments, and progress. Attendees were dressed in formal attire, with civilian guests donning Lounge Suitel Batik L.S. and military guests in Evening Uniform/PDUII.
