A dynamic fusion of sports, culture, and tourism that celebrates a vibrant spirit

The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta is once again partnering with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk to organize the BTN Jakarta International Marathon (JAKIM) 2025. The event will take place on June 29, 2025, from 3:30 to 11:30 a.m., as part of the celebration of Jakarta's 498th anniversary.

BTN JAKIM is the rebranded version of Jakarta Run, which was previously held successfully in November 2023 and June 2024, with participant numbers growing from 12,000 to 15,000. This year, 30,000 runners from 52 countries are expected to join the international event, which blends sports, culture, and tourism in one major celebration.

The race will start at the Silang Monas area and finish at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium in Senayan. Participants can choose from three race categories: Le Minerale 10K, Half Marathon (21.09 km), and Full Marathon (42.19 km). Featuring an exciting route with different starting and finishing points, the event promises a unique and memorable running experience.

More than just a prestigious sporting event, BTN JAKIM 2025 also aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and reinforce Jakarta’s position as an international sports tourism destination. The presence of thousands of domestic and international runners is expected to contribute to local economic growth, particularly in the hospitality, culinary, transportation, and MSME sectors.

To ensure the comfort and safety of all participants, a range of enhanced facilities will be available, including additional water stations, cooling zones, and medical tents along the route. A live tracking system will also be implemented to allow both participants and spectators to monitor race progress in real time with high accuracy.

This year’s edition will also adopt Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles as part of its commitment to sustainability. BTN has partnered with IFG Life as the official insurance partner to provide optimal protection for all runners.

Beyond offering an inspiring running experience, BTN JAKIM 2025 is also providing a total prize pool of IDR 3 billion. Additionally, any national runner who breaks the national marathon record will receive a special prize.

The BTN Jakarta International Marathon remains a powerful platform for sports enthusiasts in Indonesia while strengthening inter-agency collaboration to build a healthier, more competitive, and globally recognized Jakarta.
