ARTMOMENT JAKARTA 2025: A RESTORATIVE JOURNEY THROUGH ART, CULTURE, AND COMMUNITY

Feel the emotional and visual impact in a collaborative space where creativity comes alive in harmony

After years as one of Indonesia’s most prestigious art exhibitions, ArtMoment Jakarta returns on August 7 to 10, 2025, with a fresh venue and renewed energy. This year’s event will take place at the Agora Exhibition Hall in central Jakarta—a spacious, modern location with easy access to public transportation. The move signals a step forward in creating a more inclusive and engaging experience for the public.

Carrying the theme Restoration, ArtMoment Jakarta 2025 invites visitors to reflect on the power of art in embracing humanity, joy, and hope for the future. The theme is especially timely as Indonesia approaches its 80th Independence Day, highlighting a spirit of resilience and renewal in the face of change.

More than 50 galleries and art institutions from Indonesia and around the world will join this year’s edition, showcasing works by over 100 artists. The exhibition offers a dynamic glimpse into the global landscape of contemporary visual art. A special tribute will be given to four influential Indonesian modern artists—Sudjana Kerton, Ahmad Sadali, S. Sudjojono, and Fadjar Sidik—whose works connect the past with the present and strengthen national cultural identity.

This edition also expands its programming to include performance art, digital installations, and new media, reflecting today’s creative evolution and technological advancements in the art scene.

A standout feature is the special exhibition Art and Embodiment, designed to foster a deeper, more inclusive connection with art. Filipino artist Gerardo Tan will present select works, some of which were previously featured at the renowned Venice Biennale, further cementing ArtMoment Jakarta’s role in the international art conversation.

With a clear focus on inclusivity, innovation, and cross-cultural exchange, ArtMoment Jakarta 2025 is more than just an exhibition—it becomes a living space that links urban communities with contemporary artistic expression. Visitors are invited to engage, connect, and experience art in new and meaningful ways.
