Stand-up comedy fans in Yogyakarta are preparing for one of the biggest year-end events, the Festival of Nggambleh 2025. Hosted by the Standupindo Jogja Community, the event will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, starting at 12.00 PM at Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa (UST) Yogyakarta. This year’s edition promises a fresh viewing experience with a more polished and creatively executed concept.

The Festival of Nggambleh has long been recognized as one of the most prominent stand-up comedy shows in the City of Students. For 2025, the event adopts the theme Absolute Cinema, a distinctive concept that combines stand-up comedy with cinematic stage elements and visual storytelling. This theme is designed to create an immersive atmosphere, merging humor with the feel of a live performance inspired by film.

Serving as a celebration of the growing stand-up comedy scene in Yogyakarta, the festival will showcase more than forty of the city’s finest local comedians. They will deliver new material that is sharp, engaging, and closely connected to everyday life. The involvement of rising young talents alongside several national performers makes this event a significant milestone for Jogja’s comedy community.

The lineup features Abraham Tino, Ali Akbar, Alit Jabangbayi, Awangizm, Benidictivity, Coki Anwar, Hifdzi Khoir, Iqbal Kutul, Muhammad Ronaldo, Mukti Entut, Priska Baru Segu, Sakdiyah Ma’ruf, and Yusril Fahriza. Over twenty additional comedians will also take the stage, each bringing their own unique humor and performance style, creating a diverse and colorful comedy experience.

To keep the energy lively throughout the program, the Festival of Nggambleh 2025 will be guided by the comedy duo The Asam Garam, Teguh Nurwantara and Burhanudin Baharsyah.
