AUSTRALIAN SNACK COMPANY NOURISH FOODS LAUNCHES THIRD CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN TO DRIVE EXPANSION

Nourish Foods Invites Investors to Join its Growth Journey through Equity Crowdfunding.

Nourish Foods, the Australian-based family-owned food company known for its popular brand Whole Kids, announced the launch of its third equity crowdfunding campaign in partnership with Birchal, Australia's largest equity crowdfunding platform.

Building on the remarkable success of their previous campaigns in 2020 and 2021, Nourish Foods co-founders James and Monica Meldrum are once again offering investors a unique opportunity to become part of the company's ambitious expansion plans, both within Australia and globally.

In 2020, Nourish Foods raised over $1.1 million from nearly 600 investors in its first crowdfunding campaign. Following this achievement, their second campaign in 2021 attracted over $1.2 million from 500 investors, with more than 20% of them reinvesting from the first round. Nourish Foods is now inviting individuals, sophisticated investors, and institutional backers to join them on the next phase of their growth journey.

Monica Meldrum, CEO and Co-founder of Whole Kids and Nourish, expressed her excitement about the upcoming campaign, saying, "We are thrilled to embark on our third equity crowdfunding campaign. The support we received from our investors has been instrumental in driving our growth and innovation. We are excited to offer this exclusive opportunity for new and existing investors to join us as we continue to expand our presence in Australia and beyond."

Since their last fundraising effort, Nourish Foods has made significant progress in optimizing its operations and product offerings. These improvements have led to enhanced margins and reduced lead times. In addition to the continued success of Whole Kids, Nourish Foods has successfully launched two new brands: OffBeat and Just Add. This multi-brand strategy aims to provide innovative and healthier food options for the entire family.

OffBeat, a snacking brand catering to Generation Z (11-26-year-olds), focuses on both planetary and personal health. Their range of plant-based snacks, made with real ingredients, delivers a delicious taste without compromising on nutrition.

Monica Meldrum explained, "OffBeat represents our commitment to offering guilt-free snacking options that align with the values and preferences of the younger generation. We believe in creating products that are both tasty and better for the planet."

Addressing the issue of environmental impact from pouch packaging waste, Nourish Foods introduced Just Add. This innovative brand uses a unique process to preserve the taste, texture, and nutrients of homemade baby food in pre-proportioned, compostable sachets. Just Add offers parents a convenient and eco-friendly solution, requiring only the addition of liquid to create a nutritious meal for babies in less than a minute.

"We are proud to present Just Add as an innovative and sustainable alternative that saves time for busy parents while prioritizing the health of their children and the environment," added Monica. "Approximately 100 million baby food pouches end up in Australian landfills each year, making them 50 times worse for the environment than single-use coffee cups."

Anticipating a high reinvestment rate from their loyal investor base, Monica Meldrum shared, "Approximately 39% of our current investors are expected to reinvest, mirroring the strong reinvestment we witnessed during our previous rounds. Our shareholders have become an essential part of our journey, providing invaluable feedback, research support, and contributing to our product development. We are grateful for their dedication and belief in our brand."
