Positive reception from artists, collectors, and stakeholders in the art ecosystem has spurred Art Jakarta Gardens to return this year. Enlivening the art scene in a new chapter, Art Jakarta Gardens embarks on its journey to become a noteworthy part of the art ecosystem.

Art Jakarta Gardens as an art platform intertwines indoor and outdoor contexts seamlessly. Artworks are showcased within two specially constructed tents at Hutan Kota and along the sculpture garden, spread across the beautiful tropical landscape in the heart of Jakarta.

Lead Partner of Art Jakarta Gardens, Bibit, brings forth Erwin Windu Pranata, a multidisciplinary artist from Bandung. Erwin will exhibit "The Bouquet: Fall, Grow," an inflatable sculpture inspired by his exploration of his garden, brimming with blessings from nature despite often being overlooked in daily life. Designed exclusively for Art Jakarta Gardens, it serves as a call to honor nature and its life cycle.

Another Lead Partner, Treasury, presents talented young artist Naufal Abshar, who designs limited edition gold coins showcased in an installation titled "Gold is King" to highlight the timeless value of gold. The presence of a donkey figure in the installation emphasizes the significance of resilience and stability, especially in challenging or chaotic situations.

Art Jakarta Gardens welcomes a new Partner, Xiaomi, a global brand in quality technology, which invites one of Indonesia's leading photographers, Davy Linggar. Introducing the new flagship product Xiaomi 14 with Leica-engineered camera features, Xiaomi showcases "Face to Face," comprising 14 works by Davy Linggar against a special outdoor backdrop.

Partner iForte, a leading internet service and telecommunication infrastructure provider in Indonesia, presents Tomy Hersata's work, "Here, Nowhere Hear," a spatial sound installation with interactive elements reflecting our fragmented digital era's reality. An inspiring call to contemplate our collective journey amidst the turbulent sea of information, while reminding us of the power and vulnerabilities of a connected world.

Roca, a leading reference in bathroom product design, collaborates with this/PLAY to present the multisensory installation "Luxury Crime (After Agus Suwage)," capturing the essence of silence amidst chaos.

Art Jakarta Gardens is incomplete without its public programs, featuring eye-opening performances by multidisciplinary artist Monica Hapsari and friends, as well as a special music presentation, "RURUradio Lounge," curated and managed by RURUradio with support from Bakti Budaya Djarum Foundation. Grounded in the concept of unity between music and visual arts, "RURUradio Lounge" will broadcast curated playlists during the art week and host live music performances on April 27th and 28th, 2024.
