A LEGACY RETOLD: MODINITY FASHION PARADE 2026 HELD AT BOROBUDUR

An event that seamlessly blends fashion creativity, cultural depth, and community spirit into a captivating visual experience

Modinity Fashion Parade (MFP) is an annual fashion event by Modinity Group that brings together the entire ecosystem of brands under its umbrella in a single showcase. More than a fashion presentation, MFP serves as a space for expressing each brand’s identity while providing a platform for Southeast Asian fashion to present its character, perspective, and relevant narratives on a broader stage. In 2026, Modinity Fashion Parade was held on January 17 with an increasingly contextual and meaningful approach.

Rooted in Southeast Asia, Modinity Group upholds the values of Modern, Modest, and Infinite Blessings. These values are reflected in the diversity of perspectives, cultural richness, and the belief that fashion from the Global South holds strong global relevance. Through Modinity Fashion Parade, these values are realized through a progressive approach that remains deeply grounded in the cultural contexts that shape it.

This year, Borobudur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Indonesia’s cultural icons, was chosen as the venue. The selection of Borobudur marks an important milestone in Modinity Group’s journey to present Southeast Asian fashion on a wider stage with a strong historical context. Borobudur was not merely a visual backdrop, but an integral part of the overall experience that enriched the meaning of the showcase.

Held in an open-air setting, Modinity Fashion Parade 2026 featured a runway stretching nearly 125 meters, involving more than 200 models and welcoming almost 1,000 invited guests. The event brought together fashion, culture, and community within a space rich in historical value. Inspiration drawn from the cross-generational heritage embedded in Borobudur was conveyed through a storytelling approach that merged the legacy of the past with a forward-looking vision.

Carrying the theme Infinite Wonders, Modinity Fashion Parade 2026 represented limitless creative potential. Six brands under the Modinity umbrella, Buttonscarves, Benang Jarum, Nada Puspita, Zyta Delia, CALLA, and Rizman Ruzaini, presented their distinct identities while remaining part of a continuous runway narrative. Buttonscarves Beauty served as the Official Makeup Brand, and this year also marked the debut of Rizman Ruzaini on the Modinity Fashion Parade stage following its official inclusion in the Modinity Group ecosystem in 2025.

Community played a central role in this year’s event. Customers attended not only as spectators but as part of the Modinity ecosystem that grows alongside the brands. They traveled from various regions across Indonesia, reflecting long-term relationships built on trust and continuity.

Complementing the runway, performances by Yura Yunita, Marcell Siahaan, and Katon Bagaskara accompanied the show, creating an atmosphere in harmony with the overall concept. Modinity Group CEO Linda Anggrea stated that Modinity Fashion Parade serves as a space for growth for both brands and community. According to her, Borobudur provided a stronger context for the story the event sought to convey.

Through Modinity Fashion Parade 2026, fashion was presented as a complete experience, where collections, music, lighting design, and the power of the location came together to create a memorable and meaningful moment.
