Joyland Sessions 2025 returns on November 29–30 2025 at GBK City Park, Senayan, bringing two days of warm and inclusive musical celebration shaped by Joyland’s distinctive curation. Unlike the large-scale Joyland Festival, the Sessions format offers a more intimate experience with one main stage, while still preserving Joyland’s identity through the White Peacock area and a variety of local culinary booths for visitors of all ages.

This year’s edition unites international and local musicians in a harmonious setting. The first day features a performance by L’Imperatrice, a nu-disco group from Paris currently at the height of their global momentum. They will share the stage with Bright Eyes, the legendary project led by Conor Oberst, recognized as one of the defining voices of the American indie generation. Another special highlight is the long-awaited return of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart to Jakarta after 13 years. Kip Berman has revived the iconic indie pop band for a limited tour, making their appearance one of the event’s standout moments.

The excitement continues on the second day with TV Girl as one of the headliners. The indie pop group from San Diego, widely known for their viral presence on digital platforms, is set to bring their signature dreamy atmosphere. They will perform alongside Soccer Mommy, a skilled American musician, and Luna Li from Canada, celebrated for her dreamy electronic sound and multi-instrumental talent. Oddisee with Good Compny will add a dynamic layer of socially conscious hip-hop, complementing the variety of the lineup.

A key strength of Joyland Sessions 2025 lies in how the event places Indonesian musicians on equal footing with international acts. Bernadya with her vulnerable lyricism, Reality Club with their romantic indie-rock tone, and Jirapah as senior representatives of the Indonesian indie-rock scene all contribute to a richer musical landscape. Galdive, The Cottons, Ali, and Thee Marloes further enhance the local lineup with their diverse and distinctive styles.
