Experience the burst of creative dynamism in Jakarta with Gowezine's VeloPoster Exhibition

Gowezine, born from the collaboration between Gibranos of House of The Rising Sun and the Binatang Press team, alongside Acung, captures a creative and captivating exploration of Jakarta's biking community. This initiative has transformed into the VeloPoster Exhibition project – an event not only displaying top-notch visual art but also fostering positive engagement within the biking community. The exhibition is set to run from January 18 to February 11, 2024, between 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM WIB, at ASTHA District 8, Ground Floor, with free admission for all visitors.

The VeloPoster Exhibition commences with a spotlight on Jakarta as a biking hub, involving artists from diverse backgrounds. Graffiti by Bujangan Urban and Alphabad, illustrations by Rukmunal Hakim and Anggarez, and sculptures by Awan Simatupang unite under the theme of promoting biking. Each artist contributes in A1 format, printed on Fedrigoni Super White 300gsm paper, and screen-printed with Surimacca ink from Japan and ink from the Pigma Poster Series. Limited to just 10 posters per artist, these exclusive pieces will be available for sale during the exhibition.

Beyond the visual art showcase, ASHTA District 8 plays host to a variety of engaging activities. Screen printing workshops in collaboration with Proyek Okupasi and Sekolah Sablon Indonesia, along with programs from communities such as Bike to Fez, House of The Rising Sun, Brookland, and Synchronize Radio, inject vitality into the event. The exhibition receives support from sponsors like Tanamera, Guinness, Herbamojo, Fedrigoni, Kahf, and Bagasi, ensuring the success of this event as part of ASHTA's Optimistic program.

Through the presentation of high-quality visual art and a diverse array of positive activities, Gowezine and the VeloPoster Exhibition not only enliven the biking community in Jakarta but also cultivate a collective spirit to sustain activities within the biking scene.
