THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2024 exceeded expectations, presenting a glimpse into the future of the HORECA industry. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and excellence, the event delighted participants, drawing a larger-than-anticipated crowd. Co-organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), and Koelnmesse, this significant gathering provided a comprehensive exploration of the evolving landscape of hotels, restaurants, and catering (HORECA) in Southeast Asia. THAIFEX – HOREC Asia aimed to address the growing demand in the tourism sector and foster new investments and opportunities within the HORECA industry.

Held from March 6 to 8, 2024, at IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, THAIFEX – HOREC Asia attracted 359 exhibitors from 23 countries and welcomed 15,851 unique trade attendees from 68 countries over the span of three days, solidifying its position as one of the largest HORECA gatherings in the region. Setting itself apart, the event facilitated 391 curated buyer meetings, with projections indicating a total trade receipt of approximately US$91 million in the coming year. On-the-spot orders placed during the event totaled over US$10 million.

Under the theme "Shaping The Future of HORECA," the event underscored its dedication to driving industry transformation and growth through innovative solutions. Attendees from various sectors and regions expressed their satisfaction with the tailored focus of the trade show, catering to their specific needs.

The growth of the HORECA sector has played a pivotal role in this economic surge, prompting the establishment of THAIFEX – HOREC Asia to help local and regional businesses capitalize on emerging opportunities.
