Lost in Whimsy Wisdom: Interplay of Realities at Omah Budoyo, Yogyakarta

Running from June 26 to August 15, 2024, this exhibition combines art from six leading artists such as Ardi Gunawan, Bandu Darmawan, Beyond Crap, Fandy Susanto, Sillyindris, and Urubingwaru. Through imaginative and colorful approaches, these artists explore the intricate threads of society, deepening themes ranging from social technology and art markets to culinary culture and poetry. In Bangkok, Ines Katamso and Alexander Sebastianus, alongside four other artists, showcase their works in the group exhibition 'Butterfly Eyes' at Tang Contemporary Art from June 22 to August 11, 2024. Ines Katamso explores the intersection of culture and nature through delicate art practices, while Alexander Sebastianus combines modern photography with traditional Javanese batik techniques, inviting viewers to contemplate and engage with layers of memory and cosmology.

Fates and Furies at Appetite, Singapore from June 11 to September 8, 2024, Sinta Tantra and Yosefa Aulia present their works that blend myths, archetypes, and art history. Curated by Tan Siuli, this exhibition explores conflicted or ambivalent narratives, from deeply personal stories to political or social allegories.
