SWISS PASSENGERS ARE BROUGHT TO SAVOR CULINARY DELIGHTS AT THE WOODWARD, GENEVA

SWISS elevates in-flight dining. Business and First Class passengers enjoy gourmet treats, breathtaking views, and a culinary journey with Michelin-starred L'Atelier Robuchon

Geneva, Switzerland - SWISS International Air Lines (SWISS) is bringing a special culinary experience to Business and First Class passengers in its latest program, "SWISS Taste of Switzerland." They will be treated to signature dishes from the L’Atelier Robuchon restaurant in Geneva.

For the next three months, Business and First Class travelers departing from Geneva and Zurich will indulge in a menu inspired by the delectable offerings of L’Atelier Robuchon. This restaurant is part of the L'Atelier Robuchon network, which received a Michelin star in 2022 and is the first of its kind in Switzerland.

Located within The Woodward, the newest five-star luxury hotel in Geneva, the restaurant offers 26 luxurious suites with stunning views of the lake and the majestic Mont Blanc. As a member of the Oetker Collection, the hotel boasts a highly sophisticated design and unparalleled elegance. Additionally, it features the luxurious Guerlain spa, the first of its kind in Switzerland.

The Woodward also offers two distinct culinary experiences. L’Atelier Robuchon, which quickly earned a Michelin star and boasts 15 GaultMillau points, serves French haute cuisine with Asian influences and local specialties in a sophisticated setting. Le Jardinier, another restaurant with 15 GaultMillau points, follows a farm-to-table concept, offering refined yet affordable seasonal dishes. The success of this network has been proven in major cities such as New York City, Miami, and Houston, with the latest branch opening at The Woodward in 2021 as its first European outpost.

L'Atelier Robuchon Genève provides a theatrical culinary experience with French haute cuisine complemented by Asian influences and local specialties. Guests can enjoy a culinary performance orchestrated by Olivier Jean, a 37-year-old chef who was a former student of the late Chef Robuchon. After seven years at L’Atelier Robuchon in Taipei and overseeing restaurant openings in Miami, New York, and Montreal, Olivier Jean prioritizes cuisine that harmonizes with its surroundings and supports direct sourcing from producers.

Chef Olivier Jean hopes that SWISS passengers can discover the best interpretations of local Geneva products in line with the "SWISS Taste of Switzerland" specifications, aiming to stimulate travelers' senses and evoke emotions by showcasing the finest Swiss flavors. Business class passengers will savor dishes like poached char with lemongrass sauce, sesame sushi rice, sugar snap peas, and roasted squash. Meanwhile, First-class passengers will indulge in dishes such as miso-marinated pike perch with port wine sauce, baked polenta, shallot confit, and pak choi, or veal fillet with truffle sauce, potato purée, stuffed piquillo pepper, and herb salad.

"It is an honor for me to represent our beautiful region in this collaboration. I am delighted to share a culinary journey with SWISS passengers and invite them to visit The Woodward on the shores of Lake Geneva," said Olivier Jean.
