PINTU INCUBATOR: THE BRIDGE OF FASHION CREATIVITY BETWEEN INDONESIA AND FRANCE
Elevating new talents, and harmonizing cultural heritage with global innovation.
PINTU Incubator is a bilateral program designed for Indonesian and French creatives and SMEs in the fashion world. This program is built on a strong partnership between the Indonesian fashion industry, represented by JF3 and Lakon Indonesia, and the French Embassy in Indonesia through the Institut français d’Indonésie (IFI). All partners share common goals: discovering new talents in Indonesia and France, preserving culture through fashion, enhancing traditional craftsmanship, and fostering long-term economic development and collaboration opportunities in both countries and beyond.
The PINTU incubation program unfolded in several stages between France and Indonesia. The first stage in Indonesia ran from July 24 to July 31, 2024, featuring a series of events, including fashion shows, meetings, mentoring sessions, and cultural visits between professionals and designers from both countries. French experts and designers served as mentors for young Indonesian brands.
