POLAND AT IGDX CONFERENCE 2025: CREATIVE COLLABORATION AND DIGITAL INNOVATION FROM EUROPE TO ASIA
A celebration of global imagination converges to shape the future of digital collaboration between nations
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), in collaboration with the Embassy of Poland in Jakarta, proudly presents Poland’s participation at the IGDX Conference & Expo 2025, held on October 11, 2025, at The Stones Hotel, Bali. This marks Poland’s second appearance at the prestigious event, reaffirming the country’s long-term commitment to fostering cross-cultural collaboration, advancing digital innovation, and strengthening the creative economy between Poland and Indonesia.
At the IGDX Expo 2025 Pavilion, Poland showcases the vibrant growth of its creative industries, spanning gaming, animation, educational technology, and intellectual property development. Under the theme “Poland. Business Forward.”, this initiative forms part of the regional campaign Poland Festival ASEAN 2025, which promotes partnerships in education, innovation, and digital creativity between Poland and Southeast Asia.
IGDX (Indonesia Game Developer Exchange), organized by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo), serves as an annual platform connecting game developers, investors, publishers, and creative professionals from around the world. Through conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and business matchmaking sessions, IGDX continues to strengthen the regional gaming ecosystem. This year, Poland participates as a country exhibitor with a national pavilion featuring cutting-edge innovations in gaming, edtech, and digital collaboration. The pavilion also highlights creators behind globally acclaimed titles such as The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, and Frostpunk, all of which originated from Poland.
A key highlight of Poland’s presence at IGDX 2025 is the exclusive launch of “Zivana Poland Festival Edition,” a cultural IP collaboration between Gamecomm Indonesia and Sekuya, supported by Poland Festival 2025. Originally created to celebrate Indonesia’s cultural diversity, the character Zivana has evolved into a symbol of global creative collaboration. In this special edition, Zivana appears in a costume inspired by Polish traditional attire, combined with the spirit of Pancasila, Batik Parang motifs, and Gorga Batak designs—reflecting the unity of art, identity, and technology in a single creative expression.
Earlier this year, Zivana made her regional debut through a collaboration with Freek Yoghurt Thailand, featuring a design inspired by Thai mythology, Suvanna Macha. Her transformation at Poland Festival ASEAN 2025 continues her journey as a cross-cultural ambassador of creativity and imagination.
“We created Zivana to represent Indonesia’s creative spirit — a character born from our culture but strong enough to stand on her own. Through her, we want to show how local identity can shine globally, “ said Sere Kalina, CEO and Co-Founder of Gamecomm Indonesia. “This collaboration with Poland demonstrates that digital creativity is a bridge between nations — connecting history, innovation, and the shared passion to tell stories that matter.”
“Poland’s presence at IGDX 2025 shows our commitment to supporting global creative, and highly profitable ecosystems” said Cezary Filipek, Head of Office, Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). “We believe collaboration in gaming, digital education, and creative IPs can strengthen mutual growth between Poland and Indonesia — two nations full of talent, innovation, and imagination.
Poland’s presence at IGDX Conference 2025 represents more than cultural diplomacy; it is a meaningful step toward strengthening creative collaboration between two nations driven by innovation and imagination. Through the fusion of technology, art, and creativity, Poland and Indonesia show how imagination can unite the world.
