Renowned Mexican chef and owner of Canchita Restaurant in Singapore, Tamara Chavez, is set to tantalize the palates of diners at Starfish Bloo, located within W Bali – Seminyak, with the vibrant flavors of authentic Peruvian cuisine. Taking place from February 23rd to 25th, 2024, this collaboration promises a sensational fusion of Latin American tastes in one of Bali's most celebrated culinary destinations.

With over 14 years of culinary expertise spanning the globe, Tamara Chavez has emerged as a leading proponent of Latin American gastronomy and culture. Trained in Peru under the esteemed Chef Rafael Osterling at El Mercado, a restaurant ranked 19th in Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants 2022, Tamara seamlessly combines her knowledge of Peru's culinary heritage with the rich flavors of her homeland.

Tamara's culinary journey in Singapore commenced in 2014 when she assumed the role of Head Chef at TONO Cevicheria, Asia's pioneering Peruvian cevicheria. Subsequently, she helmed OLA Cocina Del Mar, a Spanish restaurant bestowed with a Michelin Plate for three consecutive years since 2017. Recognized for her outstanding contributions to Singapore's dining scene, Tamara was named a finalist for 'Female Chef of the Year' at the World Gourmet Awards in 2021 and 2022.

Driven by a passion for showcasing Latin American cuisine and culture, Tamara has demonstrated her culinary prowess in various countries, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Seychelles, and South Korea. Beyond her culinary endeavors, she enjoys indulging in salsa dancing and exploring diverse restaurants and bars worldwide.

During this exclusive collaboration, guests can partake in a unique Chef Garden Activation experience on Friday, February 23rd, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. This immersive activity allows guests to handpick fresh vegetables and herbs, followed by sunset cocktails at the Ice Garden. Later that evening, starting at 6:30 PM, guests can savor tropical cocktails and canapés featuring Chef Tamara's inspired Latin American and Peruvian creations, meticulously crafted using ingredients sourced from the chef's garden.

On Saturday, February 24th, 2024, guests can indulge in a sumptuous 7-course Peruvian dinner meticulously curated by Chef Tamara, highlighting the finest locally sourced ingredients.
