Situated atop the village's most famous peak, the hotel occupies the site of a former Olympic ski jump installed in the 1960s by the legendary Alpine skier, Emile Allais. In homage to Allais's legacy, the road leading to L'Apogée Courchevel is named rue Emile Allais, a perpetual reminder of the vision that shaped this world-class ski destination.
