HOTEL CIPRIANI, A BELMOND HOTEL, VENICE: 2025 SEASON OF INNOVATION AND LUXURY

A captivating retreat that redefines elegance through artistic expression, refined comfort, and vibrant cultural flair

Hotel Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel, Venice, introduces a range of updates for the 2025 season, promising an unparalleled guest experience. Since its founding in 1958, the hotel has preserved its legendary legacy. Today, it enters a new era by blending historic charm, classical elegance, and a modern spirit through a collaboration with renowned architect Peter Marino.

A passionate admirer of Venetian culture and Chairman of the Venetian Heritage Foundation, Marino has created a new double-height, light-filled lobby to accompany the hotel’s beloved original wooden reception area. Thirteen redesigned rooms, including two Master Suites—Serenissima and Laguna—and eleven Suites and Junior Suites, now feature private balconies overlooking the Casanova Gardens and the lagoon. These changes signal a revival of the Dolce Vita era that once captivated the world’s cultural elite.

The hotel also debuts an exclusive collaboration with Dior, unveiling two remarkable spaces: Il Bacaro Dior, the first Dior bar in Italy, and the Dioriviera pop-up store. Facing west toward St. Mark’s Basin, Il Bacaro Dior offers stunning sunset views and interiors decorated with Dior’s iconic toile de Jouy patterns on bamboo furnishings. Guests can enjoy Venetian cicchetti and cocktails specially curated with Maison Dior. Nearby, the Dioriviera pop-up presents the latest seasonal collections in a tropical garden-inspired setting, enhanced with artworks and handwoven designs by Bonacina artisans.

The spirit of refined indulgence continues at Oro, the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant. Under the guidance of Head Chef Vania Ghedini and culinary supervision by Massimo Bottura, the new menu presents a bold reinterpretation of Venetian flavors. Signature dishes such as Homage to Carpaccio, Paris-Venice Lobster, and the dessert Rise and Milk reflect a thoughtful blend of tradition and innovation.

Beyond gastronomy, the hotel’s exclusive cultural programs have become a major highlight. Guests can sail privately aboard the Edipo Re yacht, explore private art galleries, join Murano glass workshops, or attend garden concerts and cooking classes. Hotel Cipriani remains a serene sanctuary in the heart of Venice, home to the city’s largest saltwater swimming pool and a legendary red clay tennis court.

As the first hotel in the Belmond portfolio since 1976, Hotel Cipriani continues to embody timeless elegance. With its Slow Luxury philosophy, Belmond encourages guests to embrace a more intentional way of travel—rich in storytelling, cultural depth, and genuine connection.
