The Indonesian Heritage Society (IHC) and Rumahku held regular events to get to know more about Indonesia. Taking place at the residence of the Argentine Ambassador in Jakarta, Thursday (22/9), they invited Poppy Darsono.

The Indonesian Heritage Society (IHC) and Rumahku held regular events to get to know more about Indonesia. IHC is a social organization that offers its members the opportunity to learn more about Indonesia's rich cultural heritage.

Activities that can be followed consist of cultural tours, public lectures, and study groups, which are aimed at preparing participants to be able to do further research on culture, community life, history and also the arts that are spread throughout Indonesia.

On this occasion, taking place at the residence of the Argentine Ambassador in Jakarta, Thursday (22/9), this non-profit organization invited the famous Indonesian fashion designer, Poppy Darsono, to discuss the materials used by Poppy for each of her designs.

Poppy Darsono came with 6 collections which were immediately demonstrated by the participants who claimed to be happy with the positive response given by the guests who attended the event. Poppy shared how she realized and acknowledged the richness of Indonesia's cultural heritage and decided to put Indonesian traditional clothes and fabric as her focus. 

This event is a monthly agenda, Rumahku has planned this program until next year. Most of these events were held at the ambassador's house.
