A powerful fusion designed to stir emotions and awaken the senses

Jakarta is once again set to host a captivating blend of music and film as La La Land in Concert returns to the city. This much-anticipated event will take place at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, on July 26, 2025, with two showtimes scheduled at 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM. It promises a special experience for fans of musicals and orchestral performances, offering a cinematic moment like no other.

Presented by the Singapore Street Festival in collaboration with 54 Entertainment, La La Land in Concert features a full screening of the Academy Award-winning film La La Land, accompanied by a live performance from the Twilite Orchestra. The orchestra will be conducted by Indonesia’s renowned maestro Addie MS, creating a concert experience that blends film and live music into one emotionally rich performance.

Directed by Damien Chazelle, with an original score by Justin Hurwitz, La La Land tells the story of Sebastian, a dedicated jazz pianist played by Ryan Gosling, and Mia, a passionate aspiring actress portrayed by Emma Stone. Set in Los Angeles, the film follows their journey through love, ambition, and the pursuit of dreams in the world of performing arts.

This is not the first time La La Land in Concert has been performed in Jakarta. It previously captivated audiences at Ciputra Artpreneur Theater in 2017. This year, the concert returns on a larger scale, welcoming more viewers to enjoy the immersive combination of live orchestral music and film.
